Where's the power?

So I've got almost a thousand miles on my LS3 since I got her on the third. I expected with traction control turned all the way off and laying into it, the rear would break loose. I remember reading when I had my 11 that the car was a completely different animal once you got between 1500-2000 miles on the clock. Is this still the case? Don't get me wrong it still launches harder then my l99, but its no where near what I expected..... And yes, I run 93 octane and have done the fuse pull, and no I'm not driving it hard, just mashing the gas a little to see what she can(t) do.....

Depends on the weather too. I am from SC and couldn't get mine to get loose either during the summer months, but during the winter it would go crazy. The stock Pirellis stick very well.

Im waiting on uncle sam to turn loose of some of my change so I can order the CAI, washer relocator, skip shift, and catch can. As for the tune, im on the fence. Dont want to void anything, and i sure dont wanna have to turn loose of my wallet to fix anything that breaks. The only dealerships around me im sure would blame interior problems on a tune. also i have the dual mode exhaust, so i havent seen if here are any upgrades yet.......

Yeah, I'm down in SE TX so it has been fairly warm and humid since I got her. Only one day with a low in the 30s and all the others have been closer to 60s and 70s.Im still taking it easy until we hit 1500-2000 then I'm going to find a place to go run her to get a baseline before anything is added.

because the ls3 guys are full of shyt, they keep bragging how the ls3 is a crazy power house and a world of a difference from the L99's in performance but in the end all that hype isn't true and you got fooled by them. they just say that to feel more manly about there ls3/manual car. Sorry just being honest lol

On the 2010 LS3's fuse pull does not work, a battery disconnect resets the computer, over night is best I've read

Ive had both, I have to disagree, I can defiantly feel the ls3 has more then the l99. Probably just the gearing, but its a whole lot more fun then the auto.
