Ordered.

Black is about done, bored minimally to get a good clean hone so no real displacement change there but the pistons will be shorter for 10.2:1 compression and a bit of volume be default there. Not much I imagine. Pistons and rods forged of course. Re-using my crank.

Heads are getting CCd and cleaned up. Not going to port them but going to knock off the sharp edges that can get hot.

Cam and specs to come.

1860.70 at this point.

I'm sooooo ready to get this thing going.

Probably won't spend a lot on the heads. Not going to be a racecar. I have some good guys here who know what they are doing having been doing this for years.

MIGHT do some new valves if there is a need. But hopefully not. haha

Sweet! Good choice, I think

I am guessing at least $4,000, plus machine work, plus tuning...

I actually thought it interesting breaking it down to only 60.00 per piston.

Not sure about being ready for Texas. May be 2 or 3 weeks to get these pistons as we made them a custom height at the pins.

Agreed. I"m guessing I'll be around 6k after I buy a fuel pump, injectors and get it tuned.

Machine work will probably be around 500.00 and ZL1 pump with new injectors will be around 900.00 with tuning here about 600.00.

Wanted something more bad ass like boring it out for more cubes and such but I"ll be just happy to get it back on the road.

Sounds like this is going to be pretty badass. Hopefully the pistons get to you sooner than expected.
