New to site...My 91 Z28

Hey guys been on this site for a while getting updates on the 5th Gen. I finally got around to registering and figured I'd post my car. Its a 91 Z28 305 TPI. I purchased the car in June of 08 from the original owner. Plan to eventually pull the weak 305 and replace with an LS1. Just completed the LS1 brake upgrade up front and dropped in some Eibach Prokit springs all around (don't have updated pics of it though, just finished yesterday). Here are some pics....enjoy

Still on the trailer coming in from Houston

At a recent car show with a local car club

Why not skip the LS1 and grab an LS3 or LS376/480?

A co worker of mine has a 92 z that looks identical to your car. I wish the paint on my RS looked half as good as yours.

$$$$$$......that's why. I would love to have the LS3 but will settle for the LS1. My plans are to build a nice weekend driver. So I think the LS1 will do.

Also,I'm actually waiting on my 2010 2SS. So the 91 is going to be the extra toy in the garage.

From GMPP - which means there are usually better prices to be had
for about $300 you could step up to the LS6 which I believe uses the same block as the LS1
Its only about $1300 to get to the LS3
If you only plan on driving it on the weekend make it somethig special.

That makes sense if you're going with a new motor. I always figured if I upgraded my RS, I'd find a wrecked LS1 f-body, that way you can harvest the T56, wiring harness, brakes, seats if you want them, etc. It would be a cheaper way to do a lot of great stuff to the car.

Same here, I need a wrecked LS1/T56 f-body for $3-4K, my 89 RS would get every possible part I can swap.
