Camaro vs. Mustang

I love my Camaro, but it is not my drag racing car. Here is a video of my DD, a Mustang, versus a Camaro SS. It didn't do too bad.

Not really an obvious troll since he's got almost 500 posts and also states in this post that he loves his camaro. I love it too but if my only need was speed in a straight line the mustang is the best buy dollar per 1/4 mile second times.

That said, we don't really need another debate...

This is what I meant by trolling (starting a Camaro vs Mustang war).

I know Dr. Love and have seen her around.

What trolling? We all know the Mustang is the leader and the Camaro is the follower...

Now, that's how you troll ;-)

Not trolling. Just posting a thread. I don't debate Mustang vs. Camaro because I have both kinds of cars and they are both great in their own ways. I like to "Show and Shine" my Camaro and like to drag race the Mustang. I really don't see the huge deal. I just love cars in general.

I appreciate your kind and unbiased comment. I am proud of both of my cars. They are both fun in their own ways.

Thanks.

Both are VERY impressive. The ride in the Camaro is smoother, but you can't deny the rugged race car feel of the Mustang. It is personal preference. Although, anything with Shelby on it will be worth it's weight in gold now that Carol Shelby has passed. If you find a very good deal on a GT500, I would probably go for that based on this fact alone. Resell value will be better in the long run if you ever decide to get rid of it.

We have two ponies parked with my Camaro. They make great companions.

Geesh, did someone say for 1/4 mile the Mustang was the best bang for the buck??? Maybe a 2011 and newer but not the older 4.6. Stock Chevy Cobalt SSs give them a good run. In this case the Stang did a good job on the Camaro...oh, and I've had 6 Mustangs and loved them all...

Was that Windviel Blue? I liked that color. Too bad it wasn't more common.

I am sure he meant fox body. Ever see a LSX powered FOX? Very hard to beat mod for mod.
