Only downside to owning a manual (in my opinion)...
I can't drive my Camaro until my dislocated shoulder heals!!
I miss it already!

Well, don't dislocate your shoulder.
I know, my advise is to late to help.

I feel you. I have/had a right shoulder issue. Definitely made it hard to operate a manual.

You need a co- pilot you drive and tell the co- pilot when to throw the gear. Did it years ago it worked fine and was fun too.

Years ago I drove an F600 cab-over Mack; to two transmissions--4-speed main box and 4-speed brownie with a deep under -drive. Required shifting both transmissions simultaneously every third shift of the brownie--and the transmissions weren't synchro'd, so you were double-clutching.
Had a cousin with right leg in full cast from hip to toe; didn't stop him from drag-racing his '55 Chevy. Idle up to the line, then drop the casted leg off the transmission hump and pin the throttle to the floor, hammer the clutch and power shift, turn the key at the other end and let some else drive it back. Where there's a will, there's a way! Good luck! |

Sorry to hear about the shoulder but you really don't need to shift much. 2nd is good to about 70 and 3rd to about 110.

Now you have an excuse for missing a shift.
