Silicone sealant is not an adhesive, it is a sealant. The adhesive nature that does exist within the material is only to hold it onto the surface it is used to seal. IE: fish tanks, window frames, etc...
It is not meant to hold up heavy items against gravity, and potholes in the road. You made a good decision. I am fairly sure your serpentine belt and radiator thanks you as well.

Thanks, Roger

What we are planning to do is have a "levels" of customization that we feel will be the most popular. One level will be in the price range you mention.
We will also have a base level, and higher customization levels as well. We feel this will give everyone that wants one, the choice to pick how much, and what kind of customization they want. Including types of materials.
We are still settling on what all of the details are, but we think everyone will be satisfied. We have about 5 other pieces also submitted for approval as well. We will let you guys know more about those as soon, as we know more about them.

Thanks, Roger

Laser etching will be clean or black depending on gas assist usage. Oxygen makes black, Nitrogen clear / clean. If you want color in it then you need paint and your better off milling the picture or lettering in that case.

At least that is how we do it on our Trumpf 6 kilowatt.

We can etch in black, gold, white, and mill finish. Black is by far the favorite.

So your saying you can etch colored lettering in a piece of stainless? I'd like to see that.

I can cut all types of metals on my machine. I stay away from brass as all it takes is one flash and I'm replacing a $30,000.00 dollar mirror. I can cut wood and plastic too but I usually don't because the vent system has to be disconnected. It makes a mess.

I have a 6 killowatt Trumpf 5040 with liftmaster and Rotolas.
