Picked up my twin turbo Gt28rs

Finally got my twin turbo system today. Took about a month but now I have it in my possession. The install will take some time because I don't really have the money now for the install. Who knows maybe next year it will done

This is what the kit includes

Twin Gt28Rs ball bearing turbots, 700 cfm air to water intercooler, 28x6x1 heat exchanger, oversized coolant tank, brushless coolant pump, mocal oil pump, bosch by pass valve. Twin 48lbs Bosch auxiliary injector kit. 80mm MAF inle. K-N air filter. Intercooler tubing and hsoe. Crankcase air oil separator.

This guy has done tons of work for other street racers. Some cars he has worked on are
ford gt
dodge viper at least 4 different vipers
mekurs
mustangs gt and others
vettes
so many others

So with this much experience with hot rod cars I am excited when I get this project done.

This is what they look like minus all the tubes and everything else these are just the turbo's. The install will cost around $10,000 (I don't think it will be that high but, I want to have more than enough to cover it. That will include the tune and installation. Right now I am about 1/3 if the way there.

WOW

If you pay 10k for just the install your are ________ (fill in the blank)

That is completely insane. That is WAY WAY WAY to much money for an install.

Cost would be around 2-4k

I would NOT be going to that guy...

That is for the whole kit included with the purchase. The kit was $2500 and I will have to buy a new exhaust system and install price. So I figure that it will cost around $10,000 for all that added up in expenses. Like I said before I always add more to the total so when I finally price it out I am a little happy that I saved some money.

A turbo kit for 2500?

A full exhaust would be about 1500..

That leaves 6k for install. I think the TT system cost more than 2500. Most of them sell around 6k and install is 2-4k.

Just make sure you trust this guy...That is all...

Let me know if he is selling kits for 2500, I am sure I can sell a lot of them..

The reason I got this turbo so cheap was a dealership made a deal with him to buy and install a twin turbo. The dealership people screwed him on the deal and he was stuck with the twin turbo system. He needed to move the kit because he was stuck with it. So since a friend told me about it I made some calls and checked it out for myself. All was legit and we hammered out a contract with him. Also with the install done by him he can advertise that he has installed a twin turbo. So me and him are in kind of a partnership together.

Great deal on the Turbo---

I would renrgiate the price on that install. Even more so if your helping bring him business. Seems like he is making money on you in the back end.. Total cost should run around 6500 with the kit (for what you paid)
