SEPA5 Road Trip
Is anyone interested in a road trip to Ricketts Glen State Park on 10/9/11? From my house it is a 130 mile, 2 1/2 hour drive. We should see some leaves changing by that time.
Possible route is US 222 to Reading, to route US 61 north, to route US 81 north, to PA 29, to US south, to route 118 to Ricketts Glen. We could leave about 9 AM. The weather forecast for 10/9 is sunny and high 60's. Let me know if you are interested in going. We can figure out a meeting place when we know where everyone is coming from. People going: sscamaro(Ralph) pegasus6925(Peggy) R Kern(Randy) Simster(John) Dan M(Dan) Archonlord(John) Big A(Bill)

I've never been up there, but after checking out the website it looks like a pretty neat park. Let's get as much driving time as possible while we can, especially in the nice weather that's expected. |

Bring walkie talkies along, just in case we need them.

Unfortunately, I'm out for this one. I want to go, but my wife is scheduled to get induced this Friday. Have a good time and post the pics!

That would be a nice ride. I am usually up there this weekend every year. Unfortunetly I will not be able to make this trip. Have family vacation south. Beatiful views and roads. Have a blast.

Peggy, I sent you an e-mail. I'm going to take Ralph's advice about changing the rechargeable batteries in them with alkaline ones. Better for road trips.
