19" clear brembos?

Will a 19" rim clear the brembos on a SS?

Stock no. Some say you need a spacer and it'll work. Maybe someone who's done it will chime in.

Aftermarket yes depending on wheel specs

The 19 inch OEM Rims will fit the SS. All you need is 2 of the smallest spacers you can find (ie. 1/4inch or so) on the front wheels to clear the calipers. No need to remove the weights on the front pads either. Now you will hear tons of people telling you that spacers are no good and I would agree with them if you want to use bigger spacers, but I have been using my very small spacers for several years now and know of several other members that have done the same with no issues. I would not suggest doing it if you want to use them for racing purposes.

Guess I should of said aftermarket. I'm looking to either
A. Get another set of rear rims for track days (rear 20" for the front)
or
B. Get a set of cheaper 19" rims since there's more tire choices.

Franknbeans, well in that case you have to either be very specific on which 19inch aftermarket rims you want, and try to find someone that tried these specific rims or simply go with a set of 20's that have the correct offset.

As you can see in my pictures, 19's are very tight with the Brembos and depending on their design could easily be too tight.

I've been thinking about 19s also and Forgester F14 and TSW Nurgenberging <sp?> wheels came up in the discussion. I'm very much on the learning curve with wheels and suspensions.

I'm thinking Pfadt conversion to accept their ZL1 spec sways for a track/road set up. Currently have Foose 20x8.5 (27#s) front and 20x10 (29#s) rear, 19" 22#-24# wheels sound good if it can be done.
