Pay full price for RS package if we have SS???
I was looking at the specs for the RS package and it seems like the only thing the RS package gives the SS is HID Headlamps and RS badging. So my question is, will we have to pay full price for the RS package is we get the SS? Or will it be discounted because the SS comes with some of the things the RS comes with?

I don't know for sure...but I believe that The RS package has to be cheaper...because the SS already has 20inch wheels, and the spoiler, and it will have SS badging

Of course the RS package price will vary based on the level of car. Clearly the V6 folks get more of an upgrade so they will pay a higher premium.

Yeah that's what I figured but I didn't want to assume anything. I just didn't think it was right that we pay almost full price for a package that's basically standard on our car. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I asked Scott that very question and he replied that the RS option on the SS will be priced cheaper than on either of the V6 cars.

I think they are going to be separate but don't know for sure. If you want the HIDs, you need the RS... That's my guess. I hope I'm wrong.

Well the only thing that's in the RS package that is already on the SS is the spoiler. Yes the SS already has 20 inch rims but remember the RS rims are different then the SS rims so you would still have to pay for them if you get them.

you can almost bet that the ss rs package is NOT going to be the same price as the v6 rs package. that would just be rediculous if it were to happen. but i think they are a little smarter than that.

True but upgrading from 20" rims of one color to another color shouldn't add very much cost, it's not like the base SS has steel 20's or something silly. I see the RS package being around $1k for the SS and $1.5k for the LT.
