Poll: Choose Your Hood/Stripe - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Alright, first off some of the options in this poll are based off of assumption, but let's just play along. Let's assume that there are three options to order, one is the black hood insert without the black stripe package, the other is the black hood insert with the stripe package, and the last is an exposed carbon fiber hood insert without a stripe option.

So, which of these three options do you plan on ordering your ZL1 with? For those that don't plan to order, which of these options do you think looks best? If you can also post what color and wheel option you would plan to get (if you are decided) in addition, it would help in better painting the picture of what your ZL1 would look like on delivery day.

As a side note, my personal opinion is that the black insert will be a no cost option. I believe the stripe package and the exposed carbon fiber insert (if available at launch) will be additional options. How much will they each run, who knows, but I'm sure once those numbers are released that may affect peoples decisions.

While I'm not 100% decided, as of now I'd order the exposed carbon fiber insert on an Ashen Gray ZL1 with the standard black wheels. Either that or the black insert with stripe package... or IBM.. aghh

Definitely Carbon Fiber exposed and NO stripe for me. Polished wheels with Crystal Red paint.

I would have to go with Carbon Fiber, everything else Black on Black on Black.

Black exterior, polished wheels, and, if available, orange center stripe. If not, no stripe. I don't like exposed carbon fiber in any way, shape or form. Plus, is is denegrated by UV rays.

I like the exposed carbon fiber insert if it's coated corectly to resist UV but am still undecided on color. I always liked CGM but wish I could see Ashen Grey in person before spending $60k+ on it. Victory Red is my second color choice if I decide to draw more attention. Already have a Rally Yellow SS so I know the attention they draw both good and bad... Black SSX wheels no matter what color.

I voted for the black insert with no stripe. I'd prefer the exposed carbon fiber insert, but I have a feeling the total price of this car is gonna be steep and I'll probably have to order no options just to swing it.

Money no object; definately exposed carbon fiber.

I picked the black stripe package but if it is available with exposed carbon fiber lets just say white ZL1 with exposed carbon fiber

I will have to wait and see in person hopefully at the next car show here in Houston. I am not sure what the CF will look like by itself on a White car. Plus I was going to blackout the front and rear around the lights. I really like the CF look but will have to see.

Just a hunch ...If GM put exposed carbonfiber on a convertable,which will be enjoyed on sunny days,I would think they have considered UV rays and have protected it against any damage that would be caused by exposure.

Should have put in 4th choice...exposed CF hood and stripe on roof and trunk.....That would be my choice.With Black wheels of course

I like stripes, and I would usually opt for stripes, but I just don't like the stripes offered on the ZL2, so its exposed CF for me.
