I just have to say that I really like the squared off design of the gauges (they're not completely square). I don't want my Camaro to be just like the millions of other cars out there, so anything that sets it apart while still looking good is just fine with me.

Squared gauge housing with the round speedo and tach...sweeeet.
One thing to make it even better to one's liking is the background lighting... Blue or Orange...both sweet. Or whatever your taste

I think the gauge pod design is going to be one of those areas where they can't please everybody. Most will like it, but many will not. It does give a signature design element so I'm sure it will stay.

I hope they turn out great, GM has been hitting it out of the park recently with the interiors so I'll wait to pass judgment. Some blurry picsw of a pre-production model can't possibly do the real thing justice.
On the top speed of the speedo/ tach, I do not think that these are really indicative of the numbering we will get. I think the V8 will go higher than 120 but this is still not the V6 gauges. I don't think I have seen a V6 that redlines at 5000 since I was a kid. What we get may be in the same line but the numbers will go higher. |

I like it! I think the guages should all be in one place.

GREAT INTERIOR SHOTS!!! (Manual Transmission) (REPOST)
This is the best interior picture I've seen yet! I love the aluminum finish around the gauges. Does anyone know where the nav system will go on the dash?
