Recommendations please!

I'm finally starting to put some bolt-on work on my car this year and I'm indecisive about which cold air intake is the best way to go with?
What's the best intake money can buy right now?

All aftermarket ones are junk. The stock one works best

Misinformed post, go check Jannety's dyno testing

If you're gonna be tuned, I recommend VARAM, if not then CAI, inc is the way to go IMO OP.

There are very good aftermarket options, very popular are CAI, Roto Fab.

I went the the C.A.I because I liked the looked of it. Don’t think you can go wrong with any of the leading brands.

i would add the ADM scoop that brings in fresh air from the lower fascia into the filter also.

If you care about looks go with CAI. If you are only concerned about function and don't mind an ugly one Vararam is the way to go. Either is great but that is the main difference between them.

Appreciate everyone's feedback! So far I've heard great things about CAI and roto fab. I do look for a good appearance under the hood and I like how the CAI looks I'll have to go with that one. Thank you fellas!

you could also look into the z28 intake tube which though plastic and not so pretty is affordable compared to the stock monstrosity.

Really....have you used all of them? What do you base this blanket statement on? It's such a simple device what would make any of them junk?

Sure. And then you woke up. The stock air intake is "ok," but nothing like what an after market one will do. Looks alone makes a huge difference, but CAI has shown a clear increase in HP as well.

i use vararam and would highly recommend them for their performance. If you want a fancy looking CAI then go buy any of the other ones. Just my two cents.

Other option (price friendly)

I went with K&N. Nice alternative as well.
