Looking at so many different makes but what should I pay to have them installed. Dealer told me today $600.00... I believe thats with alignment but he told me I need different bolts and other items...But to me thats pretty high...what have you all paid?

A decent shop that's done springs before can do a complete swap in about 3hrs, 4hrs TOPS. Figure their shop time times 3-4 hrs, then add the price of alignment ~$75. You should be looking at under $400. $600 is WAY too high.
Had mine done for $260 but that was at a friends tire shop. The guy that did my springs had done a few G8's so he's was familiar with the process. He used one of the existing bolts on the car to get the camber right. Forgot which ones though.

$600 is way too much.
I think somewhere it the neighborhood of $150-250 is fair. For $600 you could buy a compressor, air tools, jackstands, do it in your own garage in a few hours max, and still have enough left for an alignment. |

Thats what I thought...the guy at the dealership mentioned that I needed new bolts because the lowering springs would not allow the stock ones to be used. Anyone know what they were talking about.

There are camber alignment bolts for like $30, but from what I've read, the regular 1" to 1.25" lowering springs don't need it.

changing springs really isnt a diy task unless you have the right spring compressor and you know how to properly use it, and those crappy rental compressors arent worth a broken orbital or very least broken nose, seen it happen all too often by first timers

installed my own in my garage in about 4-5 hours, no spring compressor needed. I would say it shouldn't cost more than $300-4350.

Had lowering springs, front and rear sway bars, adjustable end links, and an alignment done for $540, and I thought that was a bit pricey.

Well I live in Pensacola and I am being told $800. I wish I could find some to do it for $400.00. All I have is lowering kit and sway bars...
