6'6" and Now Have Head Room and Leg Room

Race-tech Seat install and BK-Harness Bar Complete. Great install by Winding Road Racing. Fabricated mounts, Airbag Cheater Resistor, 6-Point, Fire Extinguisher Mount!

I can now place two hands between helmet and headliner. Was previously significantly reclined for headroom!

Not sure if the pictures of the belts shows them fully installed, but they are not complete in the current state. To make them legal in any sanctioned event the tail of the harness needs to make one more pass back through the metal bucket before it is draped over the harness bar.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

Matt

Could you tell me more about the Air Bag Cheater? I just installed seats and cage in mine.I purchased the resistors on eBay, unfortunately my shop doesn't want to liability of installing. Also the only way I could see how is to fully remove factory harness from the seat which is a %$#%$%

Shop photos prior to final fitting. All secured properly and good to go. Thanks for the keen eye!

The solution involved removing the existing harness and securing under the seat and installing an airbag simulator from http://airbagsystems.com. I will ask the installer for complete point by point details and post transcript here later this week.

I'm curious also.
Did they do something to disable the seatbelt chime as well?

There is no seatbelt chime. I took both drivers and pass seat out and no seatbelt light or chime. I just have a red airbag sign since I dont know how to trick the passenger sensing mat.

Pulled Belt down and Zip tied behind the seat. Did get cheater from airbag systems should I decide to remove that will trick the system.

Intend to eventually install identical seat on passenger side and then have a frame built to turn seats into furniture for my office. Will have a console built between with Cup Holders! Frame to be built out of Roll Cage Tubing.

I installed the BK bar and Corbeau seats in mine.
I completely deleted the rear seat though, may add an aluminum firewall at some point.
