Latest update. Barring rain/sleet/snow, we have the track rental for next Wednesday. Should be fun. Ryan will have is cammed SS, hopefully with his new gears. Another friend from GPI may bring his nostalgia dragster. My frend Bob (may have met him at CFest), may bring his Vette or 55. Hopefully Aaron will be able to take some video.

I'll be running the street setup (Nitto 555 Extreme) for the first few runs. If all goes then we'll put the Slicks/Skinnies on it and remove the front sway bar. Ryan will also be using my Slicks/Skinnies to see if he can improve on his last time with this cold air.

The countdown has started. Will it be the end of the 6L50?

The 6l50 is holding well. I have ya a 25% duty cycle tune and 50% duty cycle tune done for 93 and 101 octane. Once we can control the violent boost spike that the controller cant react quick enough for, we'll be set. Anxious to see how it does leaving off of a couple lbs of boost, and yes it will build 2-3 psi on the footbrake at about 2200-2500 rpm

Yeah, I hope we can work out these last few issue. Thought the spike was only about 1.5-2.0 psi, is it more than that on the street?

Nice boost numbers on the launch target. I imagine we'll have to play with that a bit more, but sounds like you have the launch "control" stuff pretty close now.

So, did you get the restalled converter AND gears for your car in??? May have something else you will be interested in, too! SOOOO many go fast parts for the SS I'm jealous.

at 50% dc, it will maintain about 14 psi, it spikes to about 16 or 17 psi.

Not bad if we are running 101, but even on 93 I would think the forged pistons can handle the brief period of potentially lean AFR until we get the new enrichment system worked out. What do yo think?

Saw the change to your signature. Nice!!! Can't wait to see what the new converter does. I'm guessing another 0.1 to 0.2 on the 1/4th. May be optimistic, but sounded like your first one was tighter than advertised.
