Hood Wrap

Looks like I can now see some slight bubbleing at the edge where the wrap meets the front of the vent .I never used anything on it except Adams VLT or water. Going to the dealer and see whats up next week. I never expected it to last very long ,but this is rediculious .

Check your paperwork, but I believe the wrap has its own warranty. I believe I saw paperwork to that effect when I bought . . .

I would have thought it would have lasted at least a year . It will be interesting to see what the dealer/ service rep makes of it and the mods and tune on the car . Maybe I'll just rip it off and see how I like it that way .

I never saw any paperwork pertaining to my wrap on my '14. Mine looks like hell, edges peeling under the hood and there was a big "X" scratched in it ahead of the vent. My dealer doesn't even wanna waist time with it, he's gonna paint it.

Engine mods and a tune will have no effect on the warranty of the wrap...

Ours has some marks in it that I take responsibility for....I doubt anyone else would see them, but no bubbles. Occasional detailer juice, but usually just soap and water, and we received no extra warranty or separate warranty for the wrap.

The scratches I described were there at delivery...

I am happy the dealer is just going to paint it....

I know that ,but I'm sure they will make note of it in the big GM computer national data base . My VIN will be on the list , OUT IN THE COLD WITHOUT A COAT .

When I took delivery of Ragnar, someone had wrote "my camaro" in the wrap. You could only see it at certain angles. When I went to the dealership, some of the body shop guys found more flaws. It had additional scratches, because the installer was pressing down to hard, is what they said. They arranged for an installer to drive to the dealership and I got a loaner. 4 hours later, I was back in my car, and it looks great! My car is a DD and stays outside a lot! As a matter of fact, this is a fresh picture, it had just rained for about an hour, then the sun came out and dried my car for me! About 3 months and 4000 miles later, looks good to me, I love the wrap!
