Can't find LFX thermostat location
For a few months now my car has been giving me high temp warning and I'v been noticing the coolant levels bare. I decided to upgrade my upper/lower/vent/overflow hoses, reservoir tank, and to a CSF radiator. All the forums say is that the thermostat is near the lower radiator hose but in the 2012 LFX the lower radiator hose connects to the outlet pipe. I still believe I have a leak after yesterdays install and I'm stumped.
(Planning to replace the thermostat with a stock thermostat and not the 160º) Last edited by MyKuLLSKI; 09-25-2016 at 04:46 PM. |

The thermostat is behind the passenger side cylinder head at the top of the block (well centered, but accesses from behind passenger cylinder head) and is NOT easy to get at. |
