SS Stock Exhaust

I thought I saw a picture of the SS stock exhaust and it looked like it had a X-pipe in the Exhaust.Does anybody know where the picture of the Exhaust is and if it does have a X-pipe.I was thinking about either going with the GMPP Catback exhaust which is made by Borla or the Borla Catback Exhaust which looks like it comes with a X-pipe.These Exhaust are listed in the Thread that show all after market performance parts.I wonder if there will be much difference between the two.

yea it has an Xpipe. gmpp will probably be too quiet and cost more than aftermarket exhaust kits.

Nice find. Those are some great pics to work with for planning future mods. I did'nt realize there is so much room under there to work with long tubes. The more I look at the pics the more I wonder if you could go to long tube headers, leave the cats in, and just eliminate the resonators. The factory mufflers might sound pretty good (but not obnoxious) with long tubes and with the resonators gone.
Does anybody know if eliminating the resonators would put the dreaded "drone" into the system? I never was clear on exactly what the resonators do.

Must be a CTF car judging by the condition of it under there, and the quality of the welds on the exhaust. Maybe that green color on the metal parts is some type of rust protection too.
