Just thinking about upgrading my suspension and wondering if anybody else is interested in auto crossing? I know we like to drag race but I thought this could be fun too

I found out this week, that I am not going to be stationed at Tyndall AFB afterall. The base is re-doing their manning and all inbounds have been diverted. I had hoped to make new friends in the ECC, but it does not look like that will be the case.

Hey ECC what's shakin'?

As many of you may recall, my other hobby is, or was, flying R/C helicopters. As my Camaro hobby has grown, my R/C hobby has fallen out of favor, much to the chagrin of my dad who got me started in it. However, I have had today scheduled off from work for a few months now thinking that if I only went to one event this year, it would have to be the Orlando event which is happening this weekend, right now in fact. It's one of the largest events of the year with lots of pro pilots who can make what I did for you guys look like child's play and they'll be doing it at night, to music, and with fireworks. Oh yeah and lots of $$$$ worth of prizes in the raffle too.

But my helicopter needs some tweaking, I'm not packed, the drive will be expensive, as will the hotel unless I tent camp again like I have been the last few years, so it doesn't look like it'll be happening.

Lil' Nasty decided to join up with me at SGMP on Saturday and we had a good time. Track was good and the weather was great and I have a new personal best time of 14.272 @ 99mph (actually hit it twice, other time was 14.274). I was cutting 2.1 60's pretty much all day and even hit 100mph at the end once. Not into the 13's yet but so close. Now I need a tune!
