New x pipe install?

I ordered a magnaflow x pipe last nite. I am wondering what to expect financially to get it installed where the "suitcase" is? Any ballpark figure? Also, will there be a difference in tone and loudness with the x pipe?

Most exhaust shops should be able to weld it in place for around $75-150. It'll change the tone a bit but nothing to crazy.

I bought one too as well as Pfadt Tri-y headers. Putting it all on myself. But I have a lift and cutting tools and a welder. Built my own oval track cars for years. If you were closer to MI I would put it on for you. Can't be that tough. That price seems quite high.

Wow. For that price you might as well go buy yourself a little MIG welder and do it yourself!

I paid the local muffler shop $45 to cut out the old resonator and weld in a new xpipe. Sounds like I got a good deal compared to what some are paying.
