1LE rims question.
A conversation in another thread has me wondering something. I want the 1LE rims for my 2010 1SS. I know the front and rear rims are different sizes, but the tires are the same. I understand why the same tire size, because it helps cornering but it doesn't make sense to me to have different rim sizes. Ive decided that when the time comes I'm buying 4 rims of one size. My question is will the rear rim fit on the front of the SS with a slight large tire on it? A size that would be the correct fit for the rim without stretching it and keeping a nice square sidewall. This would be good to know for the 1LE owners too, because they could start trading front and rear rims with each other.

The wheels have different offsets. I do not know what they are. You may ask in the ZL1 forum since the ZL1 has been out for awhile...no production 1LEs on the street just yet.

I seriously doubt that the rear wheel (11") will fit on the front regardless of the offset or tire size. It might be more likely that the front (10") wheel might fit on the rear, but again that is going to depend on the offsets, which I am unsure of. I'm having my doubts!!!

I'm currently running aftermarket rims. 20x10front, 20x10.5 rear. My rears are the incorrect offset however and I'm looking for a better option with same size all around. Sounds like buying 4 front 1LE rims might be the answer.
