Used Windex with ammonia since 02, knowingly on tinted windows.

Friend who did the tint wanted to know how well 3M tint held up. 6 years later, no issues. May be with inferior tint, but not with 3M.

On the Camaro, Vinegar.

+1, love all their products. Meguiars Tech 2.0 is pretty good, but will not go back to using anything else but the entire Zaino line.

On the Camaro, Vinegar.

Vinegar is invaluable as a natural cleaner in our house!

A 50-50 mix of filtered water and alcohol makes a great window cleaner and is all I find necessary to use.
Vinegar/water mix for the really tough to clean stuff ....
but your windows should really never get "that" dirty, unless you hit a bunch of bugs or other contamination.

A friend of mine gave me a partial gallon of a detailing spray called Auto Tech Wow. It's the color of watered down milk and it works great on my black SS. The best thing about it is that it doesn't leave any kind of haze on the plastic or glass like regular car was does.

I haven't been able to find any of this stuff on eBay or any place else so if someone can find a source for it please let me know.

I've grown weary of flying low over wheat fields so I use Zaino Bros.

I know I know, its sacrilige to use cheap products (or anything other than Zaino) on a Camaro, but this will be my daily car, and I'm a college student with neither the funds or time to get the Zaino stuff everyone explodes in their pants over. I ordered a set of Turtle Wax Ice products, wash, liquid polish, detail spray, interior cleaner and glass cleaner for $40 total. It came with a polish pad and two microfiber cloths which were awesome. I just used my mom's Lincoln MKS as a guinea pig since I don't have my Camaro yet, and I have to say I'm very impressed for $40 and 2 hours inside and out on a very dirty car. I know it won't ever stack up to the good stuff, but it will be good enough for me, very shiny, very clean. Everything did what it was supposed to. Probably won't continue using the window cleaner though, I prefer plain old ammonia-free Windex.

I picked up a Mother's microfiber mitt and a no-name microfiber drying towel for under $10 combined. They both worked awesome.

Now ya'll can feel free to tell me how bad Turtle Wax is.

My microfiber drying towels just weren't absorbant enough to do the job right. I had little spots all over. Next time I'll pull out a cotton towel from the linen closet and try that.
