anyone notice that there is alot of Griot stuff on Amazon, and is also amazon prime? Just a word of caution, I tried to get some wheel cleaner, and it still was going to take 6 days to get, even with amazon prime. Not sure what the deal is with that.

Generally happens when Amazon fulfills the orders but somewhere else ships it.

Yea, it was a Amazon Prime product, and when I ordered stuff, it said 2 days. They shipped part of the order, should be here tomorrow, but the rest wont get here till the 7th.

That's weird then. I've had it one time where it was going to be a month before I got my chemical guys lol... Maybe they don't store car stuff in their warehouse?

Yea, usually amazon is good about knowing how much they have in stock, etc. They did ship the squirter, they had that in stock. Oh well, try some meguiars stuff from autolandzonerallysnapa.

Well if it said 2 days then I agree you have a right to not be happy. I didn't know that information at first and just thought six days wasn't an unreasonable amount of time.

Yea, Im not sure if you know about the Prime membership, but alot of items are free two day shipping guaranteed. So far they have been 100% cept now.

I never use amazon so I didn't know that. Seems like you'd be entitled to some compensation if the guarantee is breached..?

Yep they will give you something for waiting so long, either a discount or next day shipping on next purchase.

If it were me, I'd cut them some slack. I've waited almost three weeks from some vendors on here for something that was supposed to be in stock. Amazon is easily the best company I've ever dealt with. Their customer service is amazing and their free 2 day shipping on prime is great! Not to mention their daily deals are insane! Scored me some headers for my v6 for 60 bucks with free shipping. Cant beat that

I have waited before, and it was advertised that way, not 2 day guaranteed

They're also extremely slow on Meg's stuff, pads in particular. 2-4 weeks or so.

I believe griots is sold by some stores OTC now though.
