Calling out KCMD

Not really calling you out. Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the deal you gave me on the wheels and to let the rest of the forum know what kind of guy you are.

I was looking for a set of widened stock wheels and stumbled upon KCMD's post where he was selling them. During the conversation I let him know that my wife would have to come pick them up since I'm deployed to Afghanistan and he wouldn't accept payment for the wheels. What a guy. Here's what I have in return.. this Navy flag hand carried by this Army Chief from Afghanistan to TX. I'll buy the first round when I get to Austin.

Thanks! I've never been one of those "Look at me" kinda guys and never expect special treatment because I'm in the military. It's nice to know our country still appreciates it though.

What a great story, just when you start to lose faith, you always come across something like this!

Great pic! Lots of respect for those 1st Calvary guys. Never seen the "Jack" in Afghanistan, but glad to see it there.

That flag's gonna' look good on my front porch. I'll let you buy the first round, but all subsequent rounds will be on me. During the first Gulf War, I returned to a nice warm stateroom aboard the USS Valley Forge every night. Your billeting arrangements look to be a bit more spartan than mine were. How many trips to the sand box does this make for you now?

I'm just wrapping up trip #5. Our billeting might not be a stateroom but it's progressively gotten better from the ranger graves we slept in during the first days of the Iraq invasion

I'm getting much shit from the West Point LT's for having a Navy flag. Good thing I don't care about what LT's think.

Thanks again bud.

The West Pointers are just jealous. That Navy Jack is the coolest flag in the history of the United States military.

You'll have to let me know when you're going to the track. I'd like to see if your drag radials hook up as well as mine did.
