How do you shift on the street?

How do you drive?

I rock every gear. But that's possibly because I've only had my 1le for a few weeks now, and it still makes me giggle like an eight year old hearing a fart joke every time I rev it up a little.

Around town I shift just like anyone else, I shift around 2500-3000 just because I'm under 1,000miles but when cops aren't around I rev it up and shift fast with the gas floored

I always hit 1st - 4th gear when driving in traffic, and will occasionally hit 5th gear. 6th gear is reserved for open highway driving.

Not too concerned with saving gas... If I was, I would have bought a Volt instead!

First thing I did was get rid of the obnoxious skip shift. I experimented with 1-3-5 in light city traffic, and 1-2-4-6 for highway on-ramps, but now I just use all gears. It's more fun that way!

same here I got the car 2 weeks ago and so far I've wasted around $120 in just gas alone.
I know this car is a gas guzzler and I might need to get a second job just to keep up with the gas. But it is worth every penny.

Like the majority of people I go through all the gears, with the exception being when the skip shift is activated. I have learned not to fight it and just go directly to 4th. Getting the eliminator will be one of my first mods.

It depends on how I feel that day. Most days I drive my car like I stole it. Other days I get a little annoyed with how loud it can be so I take it slow.

Haha I've had mine for a year now, and still love hearing the engine and exhaust sound. (NPP)

Got rid of the skip shift the first week I had her because I have the Diablo Sport tuner from my 4th gen that I bought a month proir trading in. Simple update to it and it was good to go.

I've been lucky with the cops (ghost car) and taking off at street lights, nothing crazy, just quick take offs while they were behind me. Was expecting to get pulled over... but I think they liked the sound just as much as I do lol and left me alone.

I usually go 1-4, If I'm on the Hwy I'll go to 5, sometimes 6 for long stretches.

When I'm in heavy traffic however, I'll skip 1 sometimes and go between 2 and 4 (when in slow motion). I like rowing the gears!

This is about what we do as well. I am not worried about gas mileage, but don't really beat on it until the situation calls.
