Adding snow tires, do I need the TPS?

I was wondering if I needed the Tire Pressure Sensor?

I plan on getting wheels and tires for the winter, nice set of 18" since I have a LT.

I am curious if it is possable and how much of an issue it would be.

I did not see any other forms about this.
