2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS Indianapolis 500 Festival Car # 16



For sale is a very unique car. This car is number 16 of only 25, 2010 Camaro's produced for the 2009 Indianapolis 500. This car with its' VIN sequence of A9000837 is a pre-production VIN number, meaning this car was produced before serial number 1 of the production 5th generation Camaros (you may have seen serial number 1, which would have been A91000001 auctioned by Barret Jackson in 2009). This car is in like new, unmolested shape, garage kept, and is all original (the only aftermarket feature is window tint which was done professionally with Lumar ATX Ceramic tint). This car has never seen rain, snow or salt. 4,500 Original Miles. You will see in the last picture a photo I took of all of the documentation surrounding this car, including the license plate used during the Indy 500 festivities. This car still has the Flag Lot pass in the front windshield from race weekend. I am the first owner of this car, as it was purchased new from Columbia Chevrolet in Montgomery/Cincinnati, Ohio in June of 2009. Columbia was one of 19 dealers who were awarded these cars after the race, one of the cars was given to the race winner, and five were reused for the Brickyard race. Of the 19 that were sold to the public, one of them, #10, is believed to have been totalled, so realistically only 18 of these cars remain in the public.



The car is equipped, as were all the festival cars that year, with a 6 Speed Automatic Transmission with Tapshift mated to the L99 V8 producing north of 400hp. All of the festival cars feature the 2SS trim package which includes full black leather seats, power driver's side seat, heated seats and mirrors, power doors, locks, mirrors, heat and air, XM Radio w/iPod connectivity and Bluetooth, OnStar, Boston Accoustics sound system, 20" Polished Aluminum wheels mounted on Pirelli tires. In addition to the car, and all of the supporting documentation, I will also be including two GM Camaro car covers, an additional set of floor mats (these are embroidered with the SS badge), and another set of decals I obtained from the supplier to GM for the pace/festival car decals.

This car has been entered in the 2011 Indianapolis 500 100th Anniversary Pace Car Reunion show (May 20th-May22nd) and has been accepted by the committee. I have already paid the $100 entry fee for the car, and upon sale of the car, I will make arrangements to transfer my spot in the show to the new owner so that the buyer and their guest can take the car to the show at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and enjoy the 100th Anniversary celebration and show off their new car.

Car #10 was not salvaged. It was reused at the Brickyard and Sold with its brickyard number of 22. Car 10(22) is in Atlanta GA. You have a Nice car Ozzy!
