So I put super gas in my v6 for the first time
Well I've owned my car for 1 year now almost 7 thousand miles on it. Since the first fill it's always been the manual recommended regular gas. I always got my gas from 1 BP station for some reason, I'm afraid of shady stations putting water in the tank. Well the other day I desperately need gas and couldn't make ir to my usual staion so I went to a crappy one and got super instead. Maybe I'm crazy but I feel a difference. The car feels smoother in general especially at high rpms. I feel a little more power too chirping the gears and burning out in second gear never felt so fierce as now, so I'm wondering if it's my imagination or even though it's not recommended super makes my car feel better. Has anyone else had this experience? Also is there any way I'm doing damage using super?

My local performance shop does a lot of Camaros and told me to use super in my v6, said I would notice slight performance gains. The computer is able to detect super v. regular and adjusts the timing etc accordingly.

Yea I noticed them plus so much smoother taking off and switching from 1st to second, it felt like it feels when you change the oil after a few thousand miles

Put solid rocket fuel into the tank.

After you use super, do you have to keep using it? Can you go back to regular?

I'd run 91 if gas wasn't so goddamn expensive. My friends in the USA, you have no idea what high gas prices are. We pay through the nose in Canada.

Don't Like it? Suggit.

NO. The higher the octane rating, the better your car will perform. End of story.

How can you not let the two gases mix? Like how do you drain the gas all the way? lol or just fill it back up when its really low?

It doesn't have to be empty by any means, just not half and half or something. If your going to switch back to regular run it to 1/4 tank or so.
