Maybe you could take it to a dealer body shop that just coincidentally has a used 13 convertible stick and see if they can work some trade in snafu Magic with the diminished value claim with insurance and stick up for you while they sell your used car and sell you a newer one..?

Unfortunately this country will and has been issuing drivers lisc. to illegals and foreigners who can't read or write English but just memorize the signs enough to pass the test. Many really have no right to be driving.

Even that term has become politically incorrect nowadays. Down here the media now refers to them as un-documented immigrants.

It is not just "illegals and foreigners" that can't drive. And many people who can read and write English are doing so while they are driving.

Your car was bleeding. The other car was silver. What else could it be?

Actually found most Indian drivers to be very good, since they deal with this kind of traffic daily.

Just tell the body shop you're not comfortable with having pieces welded together due to safety concerns.

All you have to say is one of there reasons you bought the camaro was for its safety ratings, and that having a side of your car welded together makes that questionable/not to your standards.

The insurance company will have to pay up !

What's the other option? It's either cut and weld or just fill it and spray over it. Welding is probably the "right" way to fix it but does pose safety concerns and a "structural damage" CarFax. I work at a car dealership and when people try to trade a car with a structural damage CarFax, I literally just tell them let's leave it out of the equation because I'm not interested. It's a car I'm never gonna sell, could lose my shirt on at the auction, and will undoubtedly offend the customer with my valuation.

Also, as for the comments about the redness. The point of impact was a Massachusetts license plate. The plate honestly did more damage than the rest of the Ford...
