With few choices in our part of the world I went with JRE tune, but that was before Brian Tremblay in Laramie started his own shop. He used to be the LS guru at Laramie GM. One sharp dude. I'll be seeing him tomorrow in fact. But here's a link to a thread on JRE tunes. I'm happy with mine till I start doing more serious engine mods next year. Then it's going to Brian.

Ted does it all by email and has done thousands of tunes.

I here of a custom tune and I think that means a tune specific to my vehicle while running on a dyno. I just want to get the best out of my investment. Plus I would like to deal with someone who has done this before and knows what the best way to go would be.
I did send an email to a dyno performance shop in Denver, but I am waiting for the reply. I will check out Brian in Laramie. Thanks for the tip. When some of you are heading up to Sturgis, give me a time and place maybe we can hit the hills from WY together. We could either go up 85 thru Lead - Deadwood or into Custer - Hill City then up 385 through Sheridan Lake - Pactola. Good curvy roads for camaro's.

Mine actually is a custom tune based on a couple of hundred dyno tunes done by Jannetty Racing, then data logged, sent that to Ted for some fine tuning.

There will be a group of close to 20 cars from the NW coming through on the 27th heading to Sturgis. Looks like just the 3 of us from Casper on Thursday morning as all the southern group won't make it till later in the afternoon since they have a lot further to go.

Well I finally made up my mind. I went with a Diablosport tuner. I ordered my Kooks stepped down headers a week ago. They should be here by end of May. Getting them coated, thats what takes so long. Then I can get my info for the custom tune set up. I was working on some sweet Asanti custom wheels until I found a pickup I could not live without. New 2013 GMC 2500 Duramax, Tangier Orange, 20 Wheels, 6" lift. Getting the bedliner sprayed this week, Hope the polished stainless grille guard shows up. That should scare the dear off the roads. If not maybe just a bump in the road. Sounds like there should be a pretty good turn out for Sturgis. I will be off Thursday thru Sun so forget about work for a few days. Let me know about when some of you will be up my way maybe we can tare of the hills a little before we get there.

Wow, that sounds great! And so does the truck. I'll be blasting through on the 22nd on my way to Sturgis for the day to help finish up some planning. Haven't made up my mind about a route for the 3 of us to take yet when heading to the rally. Depends on what time I can get those women up and going. If we're running late might just cruise up 50 and take I90 over to Sturgis, but would rather take them up through Newcastle and up 85 through Deadwood into Sturgis. Neither of them have ever been up that way. Or may go over through Custer and up. I'll let you know when we get a little closer.

As you can see, I haven't been on in a while. Lot of things going on earlier this year in life and just didn't have the time.

There are getting to be quite a few of us 5th gen owners in Casper now, but I tried last year getting some of us together and nobody seemed to be very interested. I noticed someone just bought a synergy green 5th gen up the street from me. Maybe we can finally get some of us together with so many of us in town now. Shoot me a line and let's see if we can get a cruise in before the snow flies.

Hey there judkins75. I'm out of Cheyenne. I have a 2010 2SS/RS. There are many of us that are members of the Camaro Club Of The Rockies (CCOTR) and do most of our correspondence on Facebook. Feel free to join in...our main page is: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Camar...s/108619409968 which is more of a member exclusive with events pages. Then there is a more discussion based page that is open up to everyone by request: https://www.facebook.com/groups/400444246702229/. Hope to see you around!

Hey judkins75, hello from Casper. I don't get on here as much as I should. Seems most of us on here are part of the Camaro Club of the Rockies. I think I'm probably the northern most member. There's a few of us in Cheyenne and Laramie, with most being in the Denver to Ft. Collins area and parts south of there. Most of the time we catch up on our FB page.

I'm hoping we can get in a cruise after the snow is gone.
