Installed the Barton SS shift knob today!
It was a very easy install, good instructions. I took some pics of the process. I purchased the black anodized shift knob ball with the SS engraving--very solid and well finished. It feels great in the hand and looks a ton better than the stocker. Won't have to worry about stitching wearing out either! these guys make good products. With the adaptor, you can switch to different types of knobs, like the pistol grip and teardrop. Hope you guys like it.

Did you use the stock shifter and just replace the nob?

thanks, yes, feels much better than stock, feels more natural. it's very solid.
yes, this is the stock shifter, just with the shift knob adapter. I can get the short throw kit added on when i'm ready for that.

I just did mine too. LOVE IT! This was moronically simple to do . . . even pulling off the old one was easier than expected. Love the feel of it and the look is very clean. Great mod.

How did you order the adapter? I can find the knobs, just not the adapter. I need one bad!
