Best advise I ever got before I ordered my Camaro, "make sure you get exactly what you want". I made a few changes and I am really happy that I did!

I'll agree get the one you want along with the extras i got the 2LS and couldn't be happier because i love to mod from bone stock. Some people like the extra gadgets and options like Steering Wheel radio controls you can't do them with the LS which is a bummer fog lights you have to have put in custom aswell so GM boned us on bone stock a little with the BCM programming in the LS but it makes you get that more personalized feeling aswell.

But as Paul said get the one you can fall in love with before you settle. You can always get a turbocharger and make the SS weep in the dust later.

"The look on the SS drivers face when the V6 blows him away matches this one i'd imagine."

If you really want the 2LT then save for it. In the long run not only will you get more toys that you want but you might also get a better deal. (newer used car with the newly added options or possibly a new car left over from previous year)

oh I know I shouldn't settle for less then what I want, especially with spending 30 grand, just hate waiting, lol. It's already been 6 months since I decided to save and buy a camaro.

was thinking of going to balise or hurd when the time to order comes. Hurd is right down the road and Balise had that awesome 0% for 72 months going on, though I'm sure that's done with by now.

I got mine from Hurd. Very good experience. I want to say I've heard mixed reviews with Balise but I'll let those people chime in.

Both my daughters bought new Cruze's, one from Hurd, one from Balise. Both deals where pretty straight forward and hassle free. Balise now has a different sales manager than back in 2009. (I wonder why)

Losing sales because all our members were going in knowing invoice prices for cars and not accepting them? LoL

I have not been by Balise in a while, I'll have to stop in there again soon, I definitely wish I had a better experience at Balise when my SS arrived.

So, basically, right now I'm looking at a 2lt with inferno interior and exterior with said hood and hockey.

If I have my way Ill get out at 31100 before $1000 rebate and private offer.

curious if anyone knows anyone or has an IN with balise.
curious how long their 0% for 72 months will be going on.

Another question to go with that would be how does the financing part work if you go with the dealership?
If I walk in tomorrow and order while 0% is happening do I get it if that's no longer being offered 2 months from now when the car arrives from the factory?
Or is financing decided when the vehicle arrives and is taken possession of?

You will get whatever promotions are currently available at the time of delivery. So if the 0% isn't available in 2 months you'll have to go with what ever promotion they have at the time or seek financing through a bank or credit union. ( I used AAA they usually get you a cheap rate)
