The main problem I'm having is I been told a lot of things, I really don't know what to believe at this point. I might just look into aftermarket wheels once this gets cleared up. I notice that tire rack has more choices every month.

Nice color choice.

It has been 5 weeks, has anyone been able to get a wheel replaced. The rep calls me every week just to tell me she has no new information. It is hard to be patient when they don't offer you any information at all.

I do feel for the dealer, it has to be hard to build a new customer base when they don't get any support from GM.

One last update my wheel came in today, I have an appointment to have it installed tomorrow. The roads still have a fair amount of salt on them, I'm not crazy about taking it out tomorrow but the weather is going to be near 50 and I can wash the car. The dealer did the best they could, they can't force GM to send them a wheel, my opinion of GM has changed I think they have a disconnect with the customers after the sale.

When new cars are being deliver to dealers with the wheels on the cars it hard to say there are none available, when I talked to them this week I basically to them to f... off, didn't want to hear their excuses anymore, it sounded like bla bla bla but 3 days later my wheel showed up.

I feel fortunate that has been my only problem, I read about a few people having more serious problems, wish you guys the best of luck. I still love the car just not GM so much.

We certainly apologize for the frustrations. I can set up a case with us to document the feedback. Just let me know via PM if you would like us to.

I tried to order a set of 4 bright polished 5-spoke wheel back in Dec 2012.
I was notified on Jan. 11, 2013 that GM was not accepting my order
because the wheels are on constraint and are being made and used
only for:
1. ZL1 production
2. Damaged wheels (proof of damage is required)
3. Stolen wheels (police report must be submitted etc.)

No estimate was given when the 5-spokes would be available for other
purposes/or sale.

Looks like I will have to black powder coat my original bright 5-spokes.

im working with my dealer right now to get the black 10 spokes.. i cant stand the look of the bright 5 spokes...and im not crazy about them powdercoated in black. I just think GM is really screwing around with these wheels. They should really straighten it out, a lot of people, including myself are after these wheels!

I don't know how I missed this thread, but I'm guessing this is why some ZL1 production dates were moved back 6 weeks. My order was for the optional wheels :(

I hope you get yours sorted out.

yeah i know. they definitely look good, but at the end of the day i want both sets of wheels in original condition. so powdercoating the 5 spokes is out of the question for me.
