I'm deciding wether or not to get my stall converter. I know I'll be getting one, just dont know if it's next month or 4 months from now, or longer. Gotta decide.

You should get ahold of Andy at ADM. Have him do the convertor, tranny cooler and tranny tune.

I talked to Ted this morning.
I need to decide wether to go back to J-Ville, have Ted redo the whole thing, or do a stall and then go to J-Ville. Need to see if Doc does TCU tunes. If not, I'll see if Ted will help me out. I just hate to lose my dynotune. |

Well, without asking you to reveal your secrets can you tell me how you can besure I will have the power that I got at EFI Alchemy?
He did it on a dyno and tuned it in like that. Not saying you cant', and I have ZERO doubt you are one of the best. I just don't want to lose a single pony if I don't have to. |

In my case, I had a custom tune from my SCT tuner loaded in my car. So my tuner was 'Married' to my car becasue the stock tune is in the tuner and the custom tune is in the car. I had the car dynotuned WHILE the custom tune, from the SCT tuner was on the car and the stock tune still in the tuner. (married) EFI Alchemy (shop) loaded a custom tune straight to the car via dyno-tune using EFI Live and not SCT. So, I'm left with a tuner that still thinks the car has the custom tune on it. So the tuner is married to the car. I can unmarry it by setting the car back to stock, but since my tune was not put in with my SCT tuner, and in fact is an EFI Live tune, it would only set the car back to stock. Leaving my tuner free and unmarried, but my car back to stock. I would then have to find a way to get my tune from EFI Alchemy (shop) back into my car. He does not use SCT. AND he is in Jacksonville. I could use the stock Magnuson tune, which is also in my tuner, but it's 50 rwhp short. Which I suppose would be ok till I get it sorted but I need a plan of attack. Peice of cake. Could somebody check my work. I have a headache. Last edited by PQ; 02-17-2011 at 05:55 PM. |

I don't want to sound like an ultrafeminista sort, but there are women who own Camaros who enjoy a spirited driving. And many of us frequent these forums. I'm glad you're so happy with your new tune! It is really fun to drive a well-tuned Camaro. |
