You should get ahold of Andy at ADM. Have him do the convertor, tranny cooler and tranny tune.

I talked to Ted this morning.

I need to decide wether to go back to J-Ville, have Ted redo the whole thing, or do a stall and then go to J-Ville. Need to see if Doc does TCU tunes.

If not, I'll see if Ted will help me out.

I just hate to lose my dynotune.

I can also Provide you with one of OUR Magic Converters, that needs no additional cooling.

And I am Positive I can match your numbers.

Ted.

Well, without asking you to reveal your secrets can you tell me how you can besure I will have the power that I got at EFI Alchemy?

He did it on a dyno and tuned it in like that.

Not saying you cant', and I have ZERO doubt you are one of the best. I just don't want to lose a single pony if I don't have to.

So, in order for me to get my tranny tuned, I have to do the whole thing, right?
ok....learning new stuff everyday here.....but....how does the SCT know it isn't a stock tune it is reading????

any way.....get it all from Ted.......i am impressed with mine!!! It is so strong now, it is almost scary!

Well, when you load a tune from your SCT handheld to your car, the device becomes 'Married' to the car. It takes the tune from the car (Stock) and stores it on the tuner and loads the tune that is on the tuner to the car. If you want to get the tune out of the car, or put a different tune into the car, you have to set the car back to stock first. It will take the tune from the car back to the tuner and the stock tune from the tuner back to the car. The tuner is now free. (unmarried) (The SCT custom tune will keep a copy no matter what though)

In my case, I had a custom tune from my SCT tuner loaded in my car. So my tuner was 'Married' to my car becasue the stock tune is in the tuner and the custom tune is in the car.

I had the car dynotuned WHILE the custom tune, from the SCT tuner was on the car and the stock tune still in the tuner. (married) EFI Alchemy (shop) loaded a custom tune straight to the car via dyno-tune using EFI Live and not SCT.

So, I'm left with a tuner that still thinks the car has the custom tune on it. So the tuner is married to the car. I can unmarry it by setting the car back to stock, but since my tune was not put in with my SCT tuner, and in fact is an EFI Live tune, it would only set the car back to stock. Leaving my tuner free and unmarried, but my car back to stock. I would then have to find a way to get my tune from EFI Alchemy (shop) back into my car. He does not use SCT. AND he is in Jacksonville.

I could use the stock Magnuson tune, which is also in my tuner, but it's 50 rwhp short. Which I suppose would be ok till I get it sorted but I need a plan of attack.

Peice of cake.

Could somebody check my work. I have a headache.

I don't want to sound like an ultrafeminista sort, but there are women who own Camaros who enjoy a spirited driving. And many of us frequent these forums.

I'm glad you're so happy with your new tune! It is really fun to drive a well-tuned Camaro.
