I just read all 43 pages. Best book I've read in years. Happy ending and all, glad it all worked out...

Apparently, it was a vacuum problem. Some of the hoses PQ used were not exactly the right kind and were collapsing under vacuum when the car was running. They took some hoses off of GTA's car to see if that was the problem and they tightened up everything that might have led to a vacuum leak.

The car then ran fine and they got some good dyno runs in.

They got the correct hoses at the parts store and have put them on and he's good to go.

GTA said they took videos and will be sure to come in here to make a more detailed post with more info and video later this evening.

That is all!

(Legal disclamer: I did my best to accurately convey the info GTA gave me. Any inaccuracies are totally my fault!)
that's pretty doggone close

turns out it wasn't that the fact that the hoses collapsed; it was that they didn't seal properly, thus creating vacuum leaks.
they went under & tightened up all the exhaust joints just as a precaution.

now we don't know for sure if the exhaust actually had anything to do with it...

well the tune wasn't all that great either - considering the headers & crazy-big intake
