Here is the outline of my stripes. I was freaking when I saw the swirls in the paint, however he said they take a brilo pad over the paint so the new paint and the clear coat sticks. It better shine nice after it's all done. He said it would be ready late Friday. I'll add Photo's when I have them.

My wife was able to snap a few pics in between the storms tonight. Took about 50 miles or so for the butterflies to go away. I am now very comfortable with the car... there are no words to describe the feeling. These cars are just.............................................. ......................

My daughter wiggled her way in to almost all the pics.

I'm supposed to get my VIN this coming week! To be honest I was starting to lose excitement waiting so long, but now I'm back in. You can see what my concept for striping is from my signature. Also, I am on the Vararam Ram Air preorder list and believe I will add the QTP E Cutouts as well. Please feel free to comment on any of my ideas.

Looks great. I am happy you finally got your car and it was worth it. Mine shows it is on a train, hopefully in the next week or so. Have fun!!

When all said and done the stripes will add to the car . They will look great injoy them and the car because it's what you wanted . It makes you happy. So what else matters.

Hi all. I finally got my event history into my signature. Was stuck at 1100 for too long, but the car should be built next week, so all is well.

Aside from two visits to the Pavillions, we hadn't seen any Camaros "in the wild" until last night, when we saw THREE, while driving around in Scottsdale! One was a rental an looked a little beat up and a lot dirty (very sad), but the other two looked great!

Been lurking for awhile But I finally got a car.

I came across THE car I was going to order for MSRP here on the forum so I flew down to Houston Friday morning. By 3:30 pm I was on the road heading for Phoenix. Straight through, 1200 miles, 18 hours of Rolled into the driveway around 7:30 AM PHX time.

It ran like a dream with NO issues. Well except for the conversation I got to have with Mr. Texas State Trooper. West Texas, 1:00 AM, 600+ miles to go...First ticket in 13 years...

Anyway heres a couple of pics so that the whole post isn't worthless.

Well she's broke-in pretty good now. Have to go change the oil after the first day Heckofa lot of fun. And the attention is just like you all said. WOW!

You just described me and my own car. I've also been lurking, getting info and doing my research. I also have a Black 2SS/RS with CGM stripes. Although mine has the midnight silver wheels.

I was going to order mine on Fri. 8/14 from a local dealer in Yuma but we were heading to San Diego for a day trip. I had been in contact with a dealer in SD so he emailed me that he had my future car on his lot and if I wanted to take a look at her.

She was stashed away in the back, still dirty due to the fact that she hadn't been placed in the lot yet. Fell in love and well the rest is history

I did pay over sticker but it only was $200. I look at it on the bright side, those $200 get me the car now as opposed to God knows when.

She's home now and am loving every minute of it. I don't regret losing $200. I tinted the windows now but she's a little dirty so I'll hold off on the new pics until I get a chance to wash her.

Waiting for these stripes is like waiting for the car to show up. Now they say it won't be ready until tomorrow late afternoon. The manager said he saw a couple of spots on the facia he did not like so he's making the guy paint that over. I'm glad I went down there the other day before they started and told them some of the problems I've seen on painted stripes. At least I know they are making sure it's perfect.
