Well last night I struggled with removing the pilot bearing. I rented a pilot bearing removal tool for the auto parts store and lets just say its seen better days. The jaws were so worn out and mutilated that the would not keep hold of the bearing. The jaws on the arms were not square and it had been ground on in the past. The jaws would just keep slipping to the inside. What I ended up doing was pulling arm off of the puller and sticking the still connected arm and an 8mm hex wrench into the bearing. I then slid the other arm through the bearing and re-connected it to the puller. The wrench helped keep the arms apart and I was finally able to pull out the bearing.

This was the result

Last night I finally got some time to get my new clutch installed. I went with the Monster LT1-S triple. I also added a new slave, Monster billet support bearing, and remote bleeder line.

Nice build you got going here man. If I may make a recommendation. Dual your valve springs, and maybe a Trunion upgrade while your at it. LS3's will take a beating, but most that are making decent power, have done those two mods, for no other reason, other than safety.

Also if you have the money, and are going to be in the tank anyway, check out AGP's dual pump Fore setup, for the money, its by far the best deal out there. Of course, having a lift means that its not that big of a deal anyway, but hey, lol, horsepower is super addictive and you will want more soon. Ask me how I know!!

Check out my build thread, if you have any questions feel free to ask them, either here on your thread, in PM, on my thread, or if you need a phone conversation, I can give you my number and we can chat. Good luck man, and keep us updated!

PLEASE don't touch the trunnions. There is no trunnion upgrade besides maybe the CHE. All the other "upgrades" are downgrades over stock units.

I understand that the comp cam brand trunion is not a very good one, but isn't it better than his stock setup now?

No, not at all. Factory trunions have proven time and time again to be the most reliable.

Slowly but steadily making progress. Got the clutch job finished up and the tranny back in. After that, I mounted my stock manifolds back up, mounted the turbo adapters and wastegates and hooked up the oil feed lines to the adapter and ran them to the underside.

I got the turbos mounted up and oil lines ran the other night. Next up is the "snake" from the turbos up to the intercooler which is supposed to be the most frustrating part of the install. Wish me luck.

The other night I completed the assembly of the rest of the piping form the turbos to the intercooler. Forgot to take pics. Slowly making progress and enjoying myself along the way although assembling "the snake" was a little frustrating. Things were tight but it all fit.

I'm off work until after new years so I should make some good progress this week. Today I tied up some loose ends. Finished running the oil return lines, got the wastegate springs in, and ran the vacuum line from the intake manifold to the bov and wastegates. Now its time for the fuel pump and some rear suspension upgrades. I plan on doing the ZL1 fuel pump w/ msd bap. Also to help get the power down I'm doin poly cradle bushings, trailing arms and toe rods(all BMR), Started that at the end of the night tonight and got the rear cradle dropped out of the car.

For my fellow AGP guys of AGP themselves, My kit did not come with any instructions for installing the catch can or intergrated meth system. Any body have any instructions or pics. Also, the vacuum line from the intake manifold goes to the MVS port on the wastegate right? What is ran to the other port?
