Residue from De-Badging

I recently removed all my emblems from my Camaro and now I have a slight problem.
After I removed all emblems and used go gone to remove as much adhesive as I could, I'm now seeing outlines of the emblems on the paint where they use to be.
I feel like it is just adhesive that I can't get off with what I'm using. So my question to you guys is, what do you think would be best to get rid of this?
If I can manage to get a picture where it shows up, ill post it, but ill have to do that in the morning.

How old is the car (if not your 2014) and was it stored in the sun for past few years? If so could it be some kind of fade around where the badges used to be?

Have you tried hand applying a paint cleaner like Meguairs Scratch X or a light polish?

The car is 2 years old, my 2014, I just got it a few weeks ago from a dealership that had it sitting for 2 years...good bet it was in the sun for awhile.
I didn't think to try Scratch X, so I'll try that and let you know how it turns out.

A clay bar followed by a cleaner polish should take care of any remaining residue.

Thanks for the advice guys, I really appreciate it!
I used the scratch x and it seemed to take care of the remaining residue.
One day soon though I need to wash/wax and polish my car to get it looking great! =)

3m adhesive remover does good too without damaging the paint

Got it all cleaned up and some pics...check it out.
My plan is to put the old Camaro V-Flag in place of where Camaro was spelled out

I would use Goo Gone or maybe even rubbing alcohol to remove the residue, then I would polish the area then apply wax or sealant.

I've only de-badged once, to remove the dealer's logo from the trunk. I was surprised at how quick and easy it was to do. Took about 10 minutes, and half of that was getting the tools together and putting them away afterward.

Seems OP had originally tried goo gone and it didn't finish the job. I had a similar issue as well when I removed my stock badges.

Great advice on the wax/sealant!

I debadged my car after a year and I found that rubbing off the glue from the badges with my thumb came off pretty easy... Other than that, if the sun hit the car in the right spot you could still see the outlines of the badges. A full detail should do the trick!

I used scratch polish and a microfiber cloth with gentle pressure. Changed the junk right off.

Xenit from Stoner works much better than Goo Gone. Never was impressed with Goo Gone.
