I'm actually not getting the Z/28 to replace anything, and there are other special cars in the pipeline for me. It's just a car that made me extremely joyful every time I drove it so I wanted it back in my life, and if something makes you happy it doesn't matter that it's not the most expensive or most highly regarded thing by others. I wrote a little tldr thread back in the day when I bought the Z07 ... I think it probably explains my feelings better, and if you skip towards the end, it was somewhat predictive in regards to one day getting back into one: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=392348 |

Awesome to see another Z/28 in the area. My white Z makes it over to the Mt. P/Daniel Island area from time to time. I'm thinking about going to Cars and Coffee at the Mount P Towne Centere this coming Saturday if you are interested. Would be awesome to see another Z/28 out there.

So my Z/28 doesn't get to me till early next week, thus I can't bring it to C&C this coming Saturday. I'm out of town until Friday evening but if I get motivated I might bring another car, or if you shoot me a PM any other week I'm happy to meet up with you with the Zs another Saturday. |

FFS?
Not to hijack, but are you sure? My car is lowered on the DSE speed 1 kit and it looks like it has exactly the same amount of wheel gap as this car... and it certainly looks lower than a stock Z/28. Last edited by aris; 03-08-2018 at 11:59 AM. |

That car has to be lowered... and I want to know how?
I have always felt mine sits just a little to high. I will be googling DSE speed 1 kit in a few minutes. few minutes later.... That kits isnt made for the Z28 its for SS. It might effect the track performance. :(

The kit was actually recommended to me by a guy that raced a 2014 Z/28 in the Optima Ultimate Street Car series with Showtime Motorsports. Showtime had two Z/28s - a black one with JRI coilovers, and a white one with stock DSSV and the speed 1 kit from DSE. Both cars performed better than stock in their testing. |
