If you saw the CEO on CNBC he said there was plenty of blame to go around for the mess the company is in and no one was making excuess for that, but the problem is there is only 1 way out to fix it.

If the teamsters says it was a needed deal to save the company, who is this bread union to decide not.

messed up how 30% of the people decide the fate of the rest like that.

Wow, I dunno maybe go support your local bakery, buy a loaf of French bread and slice it thick? You can always mix some flour yeast and sugar and bake it. It comes out of the oven called bread!

Maybe our government will bail out/take over the company. Banks, auto companies, health care. Why not twinkies too?

Tastykakes are way better then hostess. Still feel bad for the people that lost thier jobs. It's a shame that the bakers union didn't take the company seriously.

Just thinking, it would be neat if someone made the original ones again.

twinkies originaly had bananna cream in them, but war shortages changes the design.

I just can't see the economic system collapsing because there are no Twinkies. Banks over leveraged, the last of the manufacturing base (automotive)...I'm figuring rational people didn't wanna take that gamble. ...what's $787B worth of Ho-Ho's, Ding Dong's, Twinkies, and high fructose corn syrup look like?

The movie Zombieland was a direct result of the shortage of Twinkies.

It's 2012.

Maybe the Mayans were right!?!
