Adams Brilliant Glaze Question

Hi Guys…

Question on the Brilliant Glaze…

I detailed my care yesterday and she is looking NICE J, I finished up with two coats of Americana Wax and love the shine.

I understand that the wax will stay on the car for a few months and have read that you can top the wax with Brilliant Glaze for added shine when I perform weekly washes…

Does this “reduce” the effectiveness / protection of the wax… does it make the wax life shorter?

Thanks!

No, if anything it might extend the wax a bit. If you want to step up to a better glaze like Blacklight, you can see noticeable longevity boosts.

It won't hurt the Americana at all.

I wouldn't put on another coat every week through, every 2 weeks or so is sufficient to keep the shine looking nice!

IMO, it would be more beneficial to put the Brillant glaze on BEFORE the Americana. Otherwise, the glaze will wear off a lot faster.

I agree, I did put a layer of glaze (blacklight) on before waxing but just wanted something to touch up on normal washes as well.

Welcome to detailing. That is the entry fee, to stay subscribed you must pay much much more.

I've used Groits as its local. Though I want to try some glaze to enhance the shine. I have very faint spider lines and the Glaze will help with that. If Adams does well then obviously they will get more business from me. I understand the product is only as good as the person using it. I am ready for the next step up and that Americana is about 50 more than the wax I have now.

I really cant wait to strip and build it back up. Now i have to go and purchase some dawn. haha...

BTW, I will post pics when done. I believe I will have time this coming weekend to clean the car up.
