How to increase HP

So I was focused on just looks and the last thing I'm going to buy for now is a hood..but after a hood other then an exhaust (which would be next in line) what can I get to increase the HP...I want to get over 500 hp if possible..

You can get up towards 500hp with a big cam and bolt-ons (probably closer to 475hp actually). For over 500hp you'll need boost of some sort (SC or Turbo)...unless you want to do some major engine work or nitrous.

Exhaust from the Cats back Offer No Performance increase.

For a Nice 40 RWHP and 50 RWTQ Gain over stock I offer My 415 Street Package which consists of;

You did not state if your car is a LS3 or L99. Very different starting points. Also, when you say your goal is 500 HP, I assume you are talking about at the flywheel.

Most LS3s in stock form will pull 360-370 RWHP (420-425 @ FW). With that as a start, a set of LT headers (any major brand), a CAI and a tune will give you 50+ HP. I got 424 RWHP with Kooks 1-7/8" headers, Roto-Fab and a recalibration tune. That's about 480-485 at the flywheel. If you have a L99, subtract 25-35 HP from these numbers.

Its about HP per dollar and these mods will give you a good return for your $....all without internal engine mods.

Behind the headers, do not get caught up in spending hundreds of $$ on exhaust system for power increase. These mods are mostly for exhaust sound changes. It has been documented here time after time that cat-back and axle back systems will provide minimal, if any gains. I have seen some dyno tests here on cam5 that showed less than a 5 HP gain with a $1500 cat back system and 0 HP gains with axle backs.

If you still want hit 500HP, you will need to go into the engine with heads and/or a cam. You could drop on a supercharger, but now we're talking about adding 150 HP, and spending a lot more money $6000-$8000.

A Decent GM Tech can handle the install and we will support your installer with any questions during the install.

Also I handle the tuning Via SCT so It is a Walk in the Park.

also if you look at my youtube channel you can see street pulls against other cars... all cars I run are pretty highly modded ($10k+) in mods.... This was with bolt on, jre tune and jre 470 cam with ls3 conversion.

If u are going for 500BHP it can be done with a cam.
