Looking forward to seeing this.

I'm a bit surprised to see a Charger refresh...I was only expecting Challenger.

Adding more thoughts here....

This sounds like it will be much more than just a refresh, and more than the new supercharged engine. I'm hearing the R/T is going to get 400+ HP and even the V6 could get direct injection taking it well over 300 HP.

Awesome stuff if all true.

Which would put it 'on par' with it's competitors, rather than giving it any sort of distinctive advantage. And unless they manage to give it a decent weight savings (which tends not to happen on a refresh), performance wise its not going to be rise anywhere above 'competitive' with the refresh

Like stated by others, the top pic is a teaser of the 2015 Charger refresh. All new sheet metal for the 2015 Charger. The only panels that are interchangeable with the previous years are the rear doors and roof.

The bottom pic is of the 2015 Challenger gauge cluster of a new trim model for the Challenger.

Motor Trend posted this picture, if it's supposed to be the 2015 challenger I can't see any difference on the exterior.

^^ That is a hellcat powertrain mule. In that pic they used a 2013 challenger body to test the new powertrain. and that pic is like 6 months old.

You are thumping your chest on this comment a little too much. ~30 horsepower down on the next closest model and a little extra weight on the previous iteration. Now with a likely better interior, the addition of an 8 speed to the mix, and matched power - the only downfall I see is some extra weight.

If you are looking to maintain the "on par" statement - you are definitely a pessimist.

The "Super Bee" is replacing the "Core" series it seems.

The body is very similar to the outgoing one. The front grille has two thin chrome rectangles, and the rear adds the full LED lights like on the Charger.

The R/T certainly has the most room for improvement, so I'll be bummed if Dodge doesn't deliver.

The front and rear are styled after the 1971 (split grille and split tail lights) as mentioned above the tail lights are now LED and the headlights have halo's. The car has revised floor pan to fit the 8speed automatic transmission. Interior is new as seen in the teaser pic. The challenger model that will be shown in NY is a 392 scatpack edition according to Resumespeed. This car is situated between the R/T and SRT. Adjustable suspension modes, brembo brakes, ect.

If the challenger goes on a weight diet, vastly improve the interior and lower the price it will be a serious contender for the current mustang and Camaro imo. The outside is one sexy looking car i hope they don't mess with it too much.
