Tonneau cover at High Speed

Has any found a way to keep the cover from raising up in the middle from air pressure. I give my car a little gas and next thing I know I have a para-sail with only the 2 bungee cords holding it on, very annoying as I have to stop car and reinstall the cover, makes me want to not run with it at all when going down interstate.

That's the fix, I'm going to use but have not gotten it sewed on yet. I don't think about it too often until I hit a interstate. Around here its top speed of 55 & I've got to drive 50 miles to a interstate. Michael

I put a large washer on each of the screw heads making it hard to put on but it is always seated very tight, even tested at going from California to Florida to Michigan at highway speeds!

But the OP has a 2013. Something is wrong with his particular tonneau or the way he installs it.

Are you sure you've got itbinstalled correctly?

Are there any splits, holes or openings of any kind in the tonneau material?

Mine works perfectly. Been over 100 mph.

Nice fix! I don't normally have problems with mine. It did pull up once at 75 mph on the interstate when there was a moderate cross-wind. Was surprised to say the least.

Maybe thats the issue - crosswind. Looks like it popped after the draft coming off the truck. Going to drive cross country this summer - we'll see what happens.

Will the top attempt to go up with the tonneau cover on?
