Very very impressive!!! I can not imagine 700RWHP using 93 octane. That is just outstanding!!

I might reconsider buying the CTS-V Coupe now...

Is it better to run 93 octane with a blower like this for good power?

93 Octane compared to? If you have 91 and 93 at pump, Most certainly 93 is the way to go. In any Forced Induction application you want the best fuel your wallet can afford

Good to hear, at the moment 93 is all I use, it's not much more then 91 price wise around here. I would run race gas....but that can get a bit more expensive then anything else.

I have never seen any gains from running the engine colder than 195, in fact just the opposite.

Everyone is under the impression that a Thermostat is responsible for cooling the engine, this is False.

The Thermostat is there to Warm the engine up Quickly, the Fan and Radiator are there to cool the engine, You can only cool the engine down to the fan settings which is limited to 190.

This is one of the best parts about sitting next to Ted everyday. I learn a TON which is great because I love to learn. I knew a bit of Ford stuff before I started working here, now the amount of things I know about engines/fuel systems/transmissions/rear ends/tuning etc is just crazy. Going on 6 years of sitting next to him

WOW! It seems like it wasn't long ago it was DESIRABLE to run lower temp. t-stats and plugs!
Yo! The new ride is working out great. I tinted the windows, it looks pretty sharp with the black paint. I did a couple minor air intake mods and no CEL's and the exhaust got a little louder. Fine by me.

Shopping tunes now. My goal is to run high 11's in the 1/4 with just a tune and DR and the air filter/air box mods that I did. It's been done before, but the weather and DA has to be real good for that to happen.

Oh, a limited production run of 10 vented hoods (CF or FRP) are being produced right now. I jumped on the opportunity, so that should help with some heat issues.

Anyway, I'm really noticing that the C5 Camaro mods are just getting better! Everything is getting so fine tuned, it's really exciting. This is really interesting news about the T-stat and stock plugs for this build.

I was always hoping to see a JRE-tuned KB C5 Camaro. This tune looks excellent. No surprise there.

Update, customer came back for a couple small tuning updates and we crested 600 RWHP and 570 lb Torque.
