Air scoop for cold air intake

I just purchased the airraid cai for my 13 SS. I was just wondering if any scoop will work with that particular cai?

yes, I believe there is just one scoop made. But it requires a washer relocation as well.

I have a 2011 SS RS and installed the Air Aid CAI. It uses the stock air tube to suck in cold air from the outside. That is what I liked about it.

Stop and look at what you have and what you're asking. A scoop mounts below the stock box location and directs air up to the filter. Now look at your Airaid intake box and note how well it accepts air from below. Question answered.

If you want to spend $700+ on a ram air hood, that would work.

I haven't seen the airraid box in person yet. I just ordered it and it will be in Friday. I wasnt for sure if the scoop would benefit me or not because of the fact that it completely replaces the stock box. Thanks for your response

The Airaid has a closed bottom so a scoop has no way to feed it. We have had customers cut the bottom out of the Airraid so that they could use our scoop though so it isn't necessarily a dead end.

I chose the airaid for a couple of reasons, the closed bottom isolates air from the engine compartment and with some creativity the snorkel can be utilized to direct fresh air from a number of sources to the box.
