If and when you modded, you knew your warrantee was voided.

Your warranty is voided only if the failure of the part is due to your modification, the supercharger issue is a part defect from the start. So this should still apply to anyone with a car that falls within the coverage zone.

Just went to the dealer and they ran my vin, #259 2012..Nothing showed up as needed action? Is this because this is only performed when there is a rattle?

If you have a '12 thru '13 ZL1, your supercharger is going tobe covered by the warranty extension adjustment and also be replaced of you are having the coupler rattle. If you do not have the rattle and your car falls within the build years described by GM, you still have the piece of mind warranty extension of 10 years/120,000 miles coverage. That's what's been posted so far from the TSB issued by GM.

Did the engine just turn off, or did it actually lock up?

Mine was looked at by the dealer last night and will be replaced. A buddy of mine has already had his replaced under this warranty. His sounds MUCH better!

I'll bet that they are just going to list the range of VIN's for the cars that were produced during the time they were installing SC's that had the spring-loaded coupler.
I'm guessing that it will still boil down to whether your car has the 'rattle' or not.
Correct.. Just leaving, and ordered mine.

The coupler disenegrates the shaft and potentially some of that material can pass.

Just found out from the salesman who sold me my car that the warranty on my supercharger has been extended to 10 years or 120,029 miles.
