Florida Hugger Orange Maro'
Here's my chop of what was originally a Victory Red SS. Tried to make as close to Hugger Orange as possible (my home computer shows things a bit darker than work pc, so depending on comp your viewing from, it may be bit off). Blew up tires/wheels a bit, tinted windows, chopped open the gills, and color-lined tires.

Umm....The rims look too big and the orange ring tires need to go.
Otherwise awsome! |

Thanks TZ. (I just added second photo with traditional wheel set-up). Regarding color-lines, I always liked them on old-school Camaro's, and on vintage Schwinn Krate bikes. Attached is rough PS of a PS'd Krate I was planning on building. Plan was to make one without external cables, and no fenders as a display-only bike. (But prices for vintage Krates/parts are just outrageous these days-and most color-lines are painted on, as the originals go for mega-bucks (2500.00 for the rare front tire (which were accessory on orig Krates in 69' only), and 500 for rear). On Krate bikes, they look awesome, but on Maro', its def open for debate.

Derby, any chance of doing this Camaro in the Aqua Blue Metallic? I just recently changed my order from IOM after seeing this color on a 1LT at Philly! Thanks

I think it looks great derby. The larger wheel combo makes the car look shorter. That bike brings back old memeories also

Here you go-this was my best "approximation" of ABM thru trial and error with PS ....(whoops, I just realized I forgot to darken lower body some-may try to correct in next day or so and repost)....ABM is a great color. I had it on my 78' Camaro. This go-around, will probably go Victory Red, assuming I can afford the car, hopefully!

Thanks HB! And now that you mention it, the big wheels do make it look shorter! Gotta love the old Schwinn Sting-Rays, and Krates! I had a standard Sting-Ray growing up, and now have a reproduction 98' Apple Krate single speed in a nostalgia spare room. Brings back great memories of being a kid, for sure! (I just added T-Top Maro' to top photos). Have a good night, HB!

Fixxer, I may try to redo that ABM a bit in next few days. This one seems to have a bit more "purple" than it should.

Here's my old 78'. Not the best pic. Back then, think I had the only "ABM" color in Twin Cities. All other blue Camaro's running around were either dark blue, medium-non-aqua blue, or baby blue. Seems like towards late 80's is when GM really started pumping out the ABM on many different models.
