Stabilitrak after truetrac and gear swap

This past weekend I had 3.91 gears installed along with a truetrac and put the diff back in the car. I had a new tune emailed to me for the gears as well. After all that when I went to start the car I had the stabilitrak message with all the traction control lights on including the ABS light. Has this happened to anyone else? Would it be a tune problem or something else? I checked for codes but there weren’t any.

Did you make sure all electrical connections are hooked up? Speed sensors at the hubs?

Yes I made sure everything was plugged in. I did stress the wheel speed sensor cable pretty good while trying to put the axle back in and then I decided to remove it but before reinstalling it I checked it and the cable looked good and didn’t seem like it had any damage.

Not that I’m a mechanic by any means but a buddy of mine who is told me, if I remember correctly, that even if on wire inside going to the sensor breaks it will cause issues. Such as popping on lights indicating an issue. He said it causes a miss reading of the signal when a wire breaks. Hope this helps.

What type of tune file was it as well, my money would be on the speed sensor as well but I'm sure someone here could look at the file quickly to rule the tune out. If its HpT I can look at it for you.

Coldfuzion, thanks but I used an efi live autocal for the tune. I am going to replace the sensor later on today and see if that solves the issue and I’ll report back.

So since I got sent home early from work due to weather, I took advantage and picked up a new sensor and swapped it out. No lights anymore and everything is back to normal.
